The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) is Vietnam's oldest financial institution, established in 1957. Headquartered in Hanoi, BIDV is a state-owned bank listed on the stock exchange under the code BID since January 2014. It is one of Vietnam's largest banks by assets, with over 27,000 employees and serving over 15 million individual and 500,000 corporate customers.
