The Ministry of Health (MOH) of Vietnam, headquartered in Hanoi's Ba Đình District, is the governmental body responsible for overseeing the nation's health and healthcare system. Established in 1945, it was one of the original 13 ministries of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. The MOH formulates and implements national health policies, regulates medical services, promotes health education, and works to improve public health.
