PetroVietnam (PVN), officially the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, is a state-owned corporation headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam. Established in 1975 and operating under the Vietnamese central government, PVN holds a monopoly on the country's oil and gas resources. The company has evolved into a fully integrated business, encompassing exploration, production, processing, transportation, distribution, and services across the oil and gas value chain, including renewable energy. With nearly 60,000 employees, PVN is Vietnam's largest economic group and a significant contributor to the national GDP and state budget.
