Vietnam Cement Industry Corporation (VICEM), headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam, is a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Construction. Established in 1979 as the Union of Cement Enterprises and later renamed in 1994, VICEM boasts a history dating back to its original cement plant, Hai Phong XI Mang, built in 1899. The corporation operates within the materials sector, specifically cement production, and manages 10 factories nationwide with 16 production lines. These facilities produce an annual capacity of 20 million tons of clinker and 27 million tons of cement, contributing to VICEM's position as the largest cement producer in Vietnam.
