Established in 1925 by the wealthiest Chinese businessman in Saigon at the time, Mr. Bui Hon Hoa, the Hotel Majestic Saigon has become an iconic landmark in Ho Chi Minh City. Originally a four-story building with 44 guestrooms, boasting French-style architecture and a prominent location at the corner of Dong Khoi and Ton Duc Thang Streets, the hotel has undergone numerous expansions and renovations throughout its century-long history. After changing hands from French ownership to Saigon authorities, and a brief renaming to Hoan My, the hotel eventually became the first Vietnamese-managed five-star hotel. Now owned by the state-owned Saigontourist, the Hotel Majestic Saigon continues to offer luxurious accommodations, fine dining, and high-class facilities while preserving its rich heritage and elegant ambiance.
